Tara Firma Inn - Volcano

The Tara Firma Inn - Volcano is located in Volcano, Hawaii, in a tropical rainforest area once forbidden to anyone except royalty. Volcano Village is one-and-one-half miles away, and serves as home to shops, restaurants, gardens and art galleries, including the Volcano Garden Arts Center. The Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is three miles from the inn, and contains both the earth’s most massive and most active volcanoes, Mauna Loa and Kilauea.
Built in 1989, this inn is surrounded by giant ferns, blooming orchids and other native Hawaiian flora. Complimentary continental breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room. Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages are provided throughout the day. The inn features wood paneling, hardwood floors and a great room with sitting areas and a wood-burning stove. Pets are not allowed at this property.

The Tara Firma Inn - Volcano features three individually decorated guestrooms. The Fern and Ginger Rooms provide private entrances onto the deck, which overlooks the tropical rainforest landscape. Two rooms share a bathroom. All units feature hardwood floors. A separate sitting area is provided in the Orchid Suite.
