Location. Located on Maui's west coast in Wailea, Hawaii, the Grand Wailea Resort stands adjacent to Wailea Beach and is positioned one-quarter mile from Wailea Blue Golf Course.
Hotel Features. The Grand Wailea Resort features eight restaurants and bars that includes Humuhumunukunukuapua'a which is named after Hawaii's state fish. This thatched -roofed Polynesian restaurant serves fish dishes and features a stocked saltwater lagoon. Bistro Molokini showcases views of nearby Pacific Ocean islands, features an exhibition kitchen, and serves island and California cuisine. The resort contains a business center and function rooms. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. Wedding services may be performed at the hotel's seaside chapel. The hotel features a water complex with nine interconnected saltwater pools. The 4,850-square-foot, adults-only Hibiscus Pool features more than 2.2 million tiles, including 630,000 pieces of Mexican glass mosaic tile. Wailea Canyon Activity Pool comprises four jungle pools, four tile slides, a white-water rapids slide and a Tarzan pool with a rope swing. A water elevator, six waterfalls, caves and an infants' pool are included. This pool area features a sandy beach, three spa tubs and a sauna. The hotel's health club includes sports courts, fitness classes and personal training for a fee. Spa Grande signature massage treatments include the Pohaku, lomi lomi and seashell therapies.
