Hilton Fort Wayne Grand Wayne Convention Center

The Hilton Fort Wayne at Grand Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne, Ind., was built in 1984 and renovated in 2004. The hotel is three miles from Indiana Purdue University two blocks from Lincoln Museum. Complimentary shuttle service is available to and from the airport, Glenbrook Mall, Jefferson Point and other local restaurants and attractions. Fort Wayne International Airport is six miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Hilton Fort Wayne at Grand Wayne Convention Center is adjacent to the Fort Wayne Convention Center and provides amenities such as an indoor pool and an exercise center featuring cardiovascular and weight training equipment. The hotel restaurant, Lombard’s Steakhouse, offers steaks, appetizers and cocktails in front of a fireplace. The Hilton Fort Wayne at Grand Wayne Convention Center offers wireless Internet access.

Expert Tip. The Historic Embassy Theater, which has maintained much of its 1920s glamour, is located across the street from the hotel. Bob Hope got his first emcee shot at the hotel, then named the Emboyd. Hope’s audience included celebrities such as Doris Day and Tony Bennett. Today, the hotel is known for performances from musicals and orchestras to the avant-garde.
