The Courtland Hotel and Day Spa

The Courtland Hotel and Day Spa is located in downtown Fort Scott, Kan. The Fort Scott National Historic Site, just one block from the hotel, features 20 historic buildings, five acres of restored prairie, and theatrical garrisons and hoop-skirted actresses. Fishing is available approximately four miles away on Rock Creek or Lake Fort Scott.
This stately hotel, built in 1906, has served guests for over 100 years. The hotel retains its original lobby, which features a large open stairway leading to the guestrooms on the second floor. Hot coffee and complimentary continental breakfasts, including, fruit, bread and pastries, are served in the hotel’s dining room. Fine dining and special meals prepared by an in-house chef are available by reservation for a fee. Meeting accommodations and fax service are available. The hotel offers a day spa with four therapy rooms providing massages, facials, body wraps, manicures, pedicures, body waxing, reflexology and make-up application.

All guestrooms at The Courtland Hotel and Day Spa include cable television and air conditioning. Phones are provided in a limited number of rooms, and a house phone is located in the landing at the top of the stairs. All units are furnished with antique pieces.
