Location. Fairfield Place is located two miles from the Red River, which features five riverboat casinos, in Shreveport, La. Meadows Museum of Art is one mile from the inn, and Touchstone Wildlife & Art Museum is ten-and-one-quarter miles from the property. Sci Port Discovery Center, featuring hundreds of hands-on exhibits, an IMAX Dome Theater and interactive discovery areas, is one-and-three-quarter miles away.
Features. The Victorian-style inn, built in 1870, comprises two structures, flanked by gardens and patios. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served daily, and feature eggs, cereals, fruits, juices and toast. Specialties include Baked Apple French Toast and Carmelized Bacon.
