- We did have a nice vacation, but I would never stay at the carousel again. Many of the workers had a communication problem, because their English was poor to say the least. It was very noisy and the people on both sides of our condo were escorted out by the police at 2am. I expected a call from the manager the next day with an apology but it never happened. The pool was closed for an entire afternoon for cleaning???? All in all the service was poor and the condos were rough to say the least for the price I paid. Never again!!! « less

- The hotel is at best a 2 star place. The rooms need to be re-furbished. Parking was not a problem, there were ample spaces in the garage. If you don't have young kids, find some place else. The bar/lounge closes at 9pm, so get your drink on before you come back. For 2 people traveling without kids, the place was okay, but not great. Next time I'll spend a few extra bucks and upgrade my hotel choice. « less

Service is really poor. Our room was not cleaned when we get back at 5:00 PM. I called front desk, they said they will send someone to clean. Waited for half hour nobody came to clean the room so I called and asked to talk to a Manager and talked to a front desk supervisor by the name Nicole. She was very impolite and said that they have more than 300 rooms to clean and asked if i request for rooms to be cleaned. I was really surprised by her reply and did not have much more to say after that she said she will send house keeping to clean. Thinking that someone will come to clean the room we left the hotel and went out to eat. When we come back at 10:00 PM for our surprise the room was still not clean. On the way out I reminded the front desk clerk that we were leaving for the room to be cleaned. I finally went to the front desk and talked to a very kind gentle man by the name Todd who heard and apologized and said he will adjust the bill. He also send us 4 sets of fresh towels to use. It is great to have an ocean front but the basics is missing. I will not come back to this hotel again. « less

- After reading the reviews, I was a little fearful of what to expect at the Carousel. Well, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment I got out of the car the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Yes, the elevators are slow, but it is a hotel that has been around forever. I never waited over 5 minutes, if that long. The staff was amazing. They always said hi, moved out of your way, and did everything to help you. The room was amazing in size, apperance, and very clean. You would pay the same amount for a hotel on the boardwalk and newer and it would be half the size. The staff is also cleaning the inside and outside. They pool may have alot of sand in it at the end of the day (after all you are in Ocean City), but by morining it was perfect. In compariosn to many hotels, they have ample parking. Their front lot is huge, they have a good amount of street parking and the gargage. Oversized cars/trucks were alllowed to park in the unloading and loading zone. The ocean is right there and the outside bar/grille meant never having to go far for a drink or lunch. We have made this our offical hotel for ocean city! « less
