Parsonage Inn

The Parsonage Inn is located in the historic district of Saint Michaels, Md., a colonial seaport known for its fresh seafood and quaint atmosphere. Across the street is the new entrance to the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, which uses the old Knapps Narrows drawbridge. The Chesapeake Harbor and shops are two blocks away. Fine dining is available in the same block as the inn. The Saint Michaels Candy Company, known for its signature chocolate crabs and homemade ice cream, is less than one block from the inn.
This 1880s brick Victorian inn features a steeple, a high-pitched slate roof, gingerbread trim on the porches, and brick detailing and inlays. Complimentary full breakfasts are served each morning in the formal dining room. The inn’s signature dish, Eggs Saint Michaels, consists of two eggs baked with a dab of mustard and a slice of deli ham, served in a cheese basket topped with crab or shrimp and a remoulade sauce. Afternoon tea and snacks are complimentary. The parlor features a fireplace, cable television, a DVD player, books and magazines.

Guestrooms feature late Victorian decor, Queen Anne reproduction furnishings and brass beds. The rooms boast designer fabrics and window treatments, and beds are dressed with 600-thread count sheets. All accommodations offer private bathrooms with tiled showers. Select rooms feature fireplaces, sitting areas, cable television and DVD players.
