Whistler’s Inn Bed & Breakfast is located in the Berkshire Mountains in Lenox, Mass. The Church on the Hill is across the street from the inn. Kennedy Park, which spans 300 acres, and offers hiking, cross-country skiing and picnicking, is less than one-half mile down the road. The Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum is one-half mile from the inn. The Shakespeare & Company is less than one mile from the property. Tanglewood, the summer residence of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, features symphonic and chamber music concerts, and popular and jazz artist performances one-and-one-half miles from the inn.
This English Tudor mansion sits on seven acres of gardens, lawns and woodlands. A veranda with fragrant wisteria covering the trellis overlooks the colorful perennial gardens and countryside. Complimentary buffet breakfasts with hot and cold dishes are served each morning in the dining room, featuring the inn’s signature dish, Breakfast Quiche Secret. Afternoon tea is offered. Sherry and port are served in the library each evening. A computer station with complimentary Internet access, fax and photocopy services and a conference room are available. Laundry facilities are offered on the premises. The inn boasts a 2,000-volume library with down sofas and a black marble fireplace. The music room showcases a Steinway grand piano, an upright piano, Louis XVI decor, velveteen couches, oil paintings, a fireplace and a crystal chandelier. Lead-glass windows, ornate antiques and Oriental rugs are featured throughout the inn. Pets are not allowed at this property.

Guestrooms at Whistler’s Inn Bed & Breakfast are furnished with antiques, reproduction pieces and Oriental rugs. The Garden Room features a canopy bed, floral borders, curtains and accents, and an extra bed in an adjoining alcove. The African Room, located on the upper floor of the Coach House, offers a private escape to the exotic ambience of wild Africa. This room features a sitting area, a fireplace and views of the gardens. All accommodations offer private bathrooms and bathrobes. Televisions and radios are provided in all rooms. Select rooms feature sitting areas, fireplaces, refrigerators, and slanted ceilings.
