Gorton House

The Gorton House is located in Lewiston, Mich., overlooking Little Wolf Lake. Downtown Lewiston offers antique shops, fall color tours and spring mushroom picking tours less than four miles away. The Garland Resort Golf Course is also within four miles of the inn.
Built in 1962, this Cape Cod style home features a back deck overlooking the lake surrounded by tall pine trees. Complimentary full breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room or on the porch, featuring baked oatmeal with apples and cinnamon. Chocolate chip cookies are offered in the afternoons. Meeting rooms and a fax machine are available. The home features a fireplace, piano and antique pool table. Fishing for bass and trout, and swimming are available on site. The inn offers a boat and paddleboat for guests' use. Wild turkeys, beavers, deer, fox, loons and eagles are often seen at the property. An outdoor hot tub is located under a gazebo. Pets are not allowed at the property.

The Gorton House offers five guestrooms with forest or lake views. All units feature private bathrooms. The Pines Room boasts a fireplace. All rooms are individually decorated, featuring country quilts and floral décor.
