Location. The Devereaux Shields House is located in the historic district of Natchez, Miss. The bed and breakfast is five blocks from the Mississippi River and the 200-foot-high Natchez Bluffs, which offer stunning views of the river for several miles in both directions. The inn is less than 12 miles from the 3,400-acre Natchez State Park, offering hiking, biking, and fishing on a 230-acre lake.
