Guests have full use of the antique-filled parlor and dining room, where they can enjoy classical music, morning papers, fresh fruit, and drinks that are available 24 hours a day. Outstanding Victorian plasterwork adorns the ceiling of rooms and a generous freshly-cooked plantation breakfast is served family style in the dining room each morning. A continental breakfast is available at other times on request. If guests get hungry or thirsty anytime, day or night, the fruit bowl on the dining room table and the drinks on the sideboard are available at no charge. The 1888 Wensel House is located in the heart of the historic district across from tour headquarters, shopping, dining, trolley shop, and carriage rides. The bluff overlooking the river and several tour houses are less than two block away. The location of the inn is perfect for walking the town and its historic neighborhoods.
