Location. Midway between Bozeman and Yellowstone National Park, the Stillwater Condominiums offers slopeside accommodations in Big Sky, Mont. Positioned in the Gallatin Valley, the Big Sky Resort has become one of the most popular winter destinations in the country. Skiing and snowboarding are big draws for the area, but plenty of recreational possibilities are available once the snow has melted. Golfing, biking, fishing and hiking are popular activities during summer months. Dozens of eateries and nightlife venues exist, as well as plenty of unique shops and galleries.
Hotel Features. Guests have access to the amenities at nearby Huntley Lodge, which features an outdoor pool, two jetted tubs, a weight room and two seasonal tennis courts. The European-style spa offers the ultimate in relaxation, with treatments including hot-stone massage, mineral baths, mud wraps and aromatherapy. The Yellowstone Conference Center is attached to Huntley Lodge and boasts 46,000 square feet of event space and can accommodate up to 1,000 people. During ski season, a complimentary breakfast buffet is provided each morning, and the Huntley Dining Room offers steak, fish and wild game in a rustic setting. Chet’s Bar and Grill is a popular lounge with nightly performances by a musical comedy troupe.

Guestrooms. Each of the studio and one-bedroom accommodations feature fireplaces and kitchens with refrigerators, microwave ovens and ranges. Cable television is also standard.

Expert Tip. The Gallatin River, which runs close to the property, was the setting for the film A River Runs Through It.
