Inn at Crystal Lake & Palmer House Pub

Location. The Inn at Crystal Lake & Palmer House Pub is located in Eaton Center, N.H., overlooking Crystal Lake. The city's downtown offers a barley candy factory, two pottery studios, an antique gallery housed in an old sleigh mill, and the Eaton Village Store. The inn is within five miles of the Little White Church, said to be the most photographed church in America. The Conway Scenic Railroad and Stone Mountain Arts Center are between 10 and 15 miles from the inn.
Features. Built in 1884, this Greek Revival inn features a porch with rocking chairs, two balconies and a patio amidst manicured gardens. Complimentary full breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room or at the nearby Eaton Village Store. Dinner is available in the formal dining room or at the casual Palmer House Pub, which specializes in chili, Martinis and Manhattans. The inn features a granite fireplace in the living room and a restored Victorian library. A video and CD library, which features an emphasis on classical and opera music, is available.

Guestrooms. The Inn at Crystal Lake & Palmer House Pub offers 12 guestrooms providing CD players, radios, cable television and VCRs. All rooms include private bathrooms. Guestrooms are individually decorated, and select accommodations feature country quilts. Select units are furnished with four-poster beds.

Expert Tip. The Palmer House Pub holds monthly "Opera Dinners," which consist of four-course dinners, discussions, and live and recorded singing.
