Sunset Hill House a Grand Inn

Location. Sunset Hill House overlooks the Sugar Hill Golf Course, nine miles from Cannon Mountain Ski Area, in Sugar Hill, N.H. Robert Frost Place, once home to the famed poet, is eight miles away, and is open to visitors during the summer months. Franconia Notch State Park is within nine miles of the inn.
Features. The Second Empire-style inn offers views of six mountain ranges. Complimentary breakfasts are served, and two restaurants are located on the property. The Restaurant at Sunset Hill features specialties including Duckling Bombay, Sauteed Madeira Chicken and Maple-Glazed Salmon with Caviar. NH Tavern offers burgers, ribs and a selection of beer and wine. Conference space, a computer station with high-speed Internet access, and a business center are available. The outdoor pool and hammock offer spectacular views. VCR’s and a video library are available, and there is a piano located at the inn. Laundry facilities are located on the property. Pets are not allowed at this property.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms offer unique décor, fantastic views and private bathrooms. Amenities vary by unit, and may include fireplaces, jetted tubs, cable television, steam showers, private decks and/or claw-footed tubs. Wet bars, refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers are available in select rooms.

Expert Tip. Moose-watching season at the inn runs from May through October.
