The Lion & the Rose B&B

The Lion and the Rose B&B is located in downtown Whitefield, N.H., a small town positioned in the White Mountains. The Bretton Woods Ski Area, Mt. Washington Cog Railway, Six Gun City and Flume Gorge are less than 15 miles from the inn.
This 1895 Queen Anne Victorian home was fully restored in 2001. Complimentary candlelit breakfasts, including raspberry stuffed French toast and maple sausage, are served daily. Afternoon tea and pastries, followed by wine and hors d’oeuvres in the evenings, are offered in the parlor or on the porches. The inn’s hot tub overlooks a trickling waterfall and the scenic New Hampshire White Mountains. Concierge services are available.

The Lion and the Rose B&B offers five guest accommodations with private bathrooms. All rooms and suites are decorated with antiques and reproductions, and include terrycloth bathrobes. The Lion’s Den and Rose Garden Suites, located on the second floor, offer separate sitting rooms, cable television, mini fridges and coffeemakers. The Lion’s Den includes a two-person jetted tub. The White Lilac Room features a private deck, and the Key West Room offers an antique claw-foot soaking tub.
