Chimney Hill Farm Estate

Location. The Chimney Hill Farm Estate is located on a country road nestled in the wooded hillside above the historic riverside towns of Lambertville, N.J. and New Hope, Pa. Downtown Lambertville is one-half mile away and New Hope is one mile from the estate. Both are known for their art galleries and antique shops. The well-known Golden Nugget Antique Flea Market, is one mile from the property. The Howell Living History Farm is less than three miles away. Recreational activities within 10 miles of the inn include river tubing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, hiking, biking and haunted hayrides.
Features. This fieldstone Greek Revival home, built in 1820, is surrounded by eight acres of fields, gardens and landscaped grounds. The house is accented with hand-stenciled trim, raised paneling and wide-plank floors. Oriental rugs, a fireplace and a baby grand piano complement intimate seating areas in the living room. Complimentary candlelit breakfasts are served in the Colonial dining room. The inn’s signature dish is Apple Raisin French Toast. Coffee, tea, cream sherry, beverages, homemade cookies and snacks are also provided. The estate includes a restored dairy barn, converted into guestrooms and meeting facilities. Fax and photocopy services are available. An alpaca farm resides on the estate, and alpaca products are offered at the inn’s gift shop. Guests are welcome to stroll through the stone flower garden and relax on the garden terrace. Pets are not allowed at the property.

Guestrooms. The Chimney Hill Farm Estate offers 12 guestrooms, each distinctly different, yet sharing the same country ambience. All rooms feature period furnishings and private bathrooms. Select rooms boast jetted tubs, canopy beds and fireplaces.

Expert Tip. The Bucks County Playhouse, located approximately one-and-one-half miles away, is a national landmark with a rich theatrical history. Well-known stars of stage, screen and television have performed on this stage throughout the years, including Robert Redford, Leslie Nielsen, Larry Hagman, Merv Griffin, Walter Matthau and Grace Kelly, just to name a few.
