Location. The Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa is located in Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M., along the Rio Grande river, overlooking the Sandia Mountains. The Santa Ana Star Casino is two miles from the hotel and the Santa Ana Golf Club is three miles away. Seven miles from the resort is the historic Coronado State Monument. Airport shuttles and Town Car services are available with advance reservation.
Hotel Features. Five dining venues include a fine-dining restaurant offering Tapas-style global cuisine, two casual-style cafés, a golf-course bar and grill, and a deli. The Rio Grande Lounge offers live entertainment, light fare and a large selection of spirits, signature cocktails and cigars. More than 21,000 square feet of meeting and event space at the resort includes a 12,000-square-foot ballroom with event catering and wireless Internet access.

Recreational amenities include an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, riding stables and hot-air ballooning. Three outdoor pools include a plaza pool with a water slide, waterfall, spa tub and poolside grill. The Tamaya Mist spa and salon is a 16,000-square-foot on-site facility specializing in native herb treatments and other therapeutic practices. Supervised children's activities are also offered by professional staff throughout the day.

Guestrooms. All 350 guestrooms feature Southwestern decor and Native American textiles with views of the Sandia Mountains, golf course or courtyard on private balconies. Bedding features triple sheeting and down comforters. Amenities included cable television with premium channels and high-speed wireless Internet access.

Expert Tip. The Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa has a Native American cultural museum and learning center that features seasonal programs such as pottery demonstrations, traditional dances, pueblo-style bread-baking and fireside stories.
