- We stayed at Inn on the Paseo for two nights. Negatives: Although we paid for a deluxe room, applying that adjective to our accommodations is a big stretch. The room was clean but tiny; the advertised fireplace is a small gas fixture stuck in a corner. The back porch is badly in need of paint; outside furniture was dirty and randomly placed. Positives: We met some interesting people at the communal breakfast table, the coffee (free) was excellent, the parking in the back lot is convenient and free. The downtown location allowed us to walk everywhere. Bottom line: We paid over $200 per night for a room that should have been priced at around $125. « less

- We loved the Inn on the Paseo, an inn that manages to be seemingly out of the way but also right near the center of things in Santa Fe. The Paseo is a fairly busy street, but the inn is on a quiet part of it, a couple of blocks northwest of the Plaza. Our room was smallish (all of them are), but well-appointed, quiet and comfortable, with windows that looked onto the back deck. At a cooler time of year, it would have been lovely to sit just outside in the comfortable porch chairs and have our afternoon wine. As it was, we ate our breakfast outside on that deck every morning.
The two innkeepers were both helpful and nice: Peter gave us lots of tips on which galleries to visit, and Joylene was friendly and accommodating. The other guests, too, were almost all friendly and interesting, and we enjoyed talking to a bunch of them.
Across the street from the inn is the entrance to Old Fort Marcy Park, which features a lovely walk up into the foothills above town. There's also a free shuttle, shared by the in and its sisters property, the Hotel Santa Fe, whose driver will drop you off or pick you up for free anywhere in town -- so we managed to leave our car in the parking lot nearly the whole time we were there.
We loved Santa Fe and plan on returning to the Inn on the Paseo every year. « less

- This hidden gem, along with the Innkeeper, Joylene Kubala and staff shoud be cloned. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with a smile and when I entered my room, I noticed a fresh, clean scent which pleased me. The room was beautiful and just the right size for a B&B. The bed was comfortable, refrigerated air was much appreciated and the quietness and coziness made it feel like home away from home. Breakfast was expansive and just right for any taste. Thank you for showing your guests how much you appreciate them I will certainly tell all my friends and family about this diamond in the rough. « less

- My daughter and I stayed at the Inn while visiting St. John's College. We shared a room. The furniture was comfortable and charming. Outside our room, we had a reading area that could be shared with other travelers. It was a comfortable place to read, while waiting on my daughter or giving her some privacy. When we arrived late one night, tasty cookies and other treats were still available in the dining area. The loft room looked beautiful; I think we will stay in the loft next time. The Inn is also very convenient to the square. We had a pleasant visit and will definitely return, because my daughter loved Santa Fe and St. John's College. « less

- We really liked this inn. The location, walking distance to everything we wanted, was great. Breakfast had many good and healthy choices that could be eaten inside or on the lovely deck. Coffee and snacks were available during the day and early evening. Make sure to check on the room, as we were given a room in the basement with a very small window. It was lovely, but did not have a view. « less
