Edison Towers Times Square is in a great location between 47th and Broadway in the heart of New York's exciting theater district. It's not a luxury hotel, but the Edison's spectacular location and affordable rate makes it a good choice for budget-minded vacationers and sight seers.
Two blocks south of the Edison Towers Time Square New York is the Shubert Theatre which houses the highly acclaimed comedic musical hit Spamalot, produced by Monty Python. Many of New York's most famous sights (including Times Square, Central Park and Rockefeller Center) fall within walking distance of Edison Towers Time Square hotel. Just next door is a small deli that makes a nice lunch-time stop for sandwiches and soup.
The Edison Towers Time Square was constructed in 1931 with a grand Art Deco style and has retained its historic facade. A helpful concierge desk will gladly recommend transportation and dining advice. High-speed wireless Internet access is available in the lobby and throughout the hotel. Theater-goers should consider stopping at the hotel's piano bar and cafe after the show.
