Location. Baxter's Homestead is located on Long Island in Port Washington, N.Y. Hempstead Harbor Park is less than two miles from the property. The Sands Point Preserve, home to the historic Hempstead House castle and the Falaise, Guggenheim Mansion, is less than three miles away. The Harbor Links Golf Course is four miles from the bed and breakfast.
