Carambola Inn

The Carambola Inn is located on the edge of the Jones-Johnson historic district in Fuquay-Varina, N.C. Cafés and shops are within one mile of the inn. Crooked Creek Golf Club offers an 18-hole golf course designed by Michael Riley less than five miles from the property. Theaters, museums and concerts are available less than 12 miles away in Raleigh, N.C. I-40 is less than 10 miles from the inn.
Built in 1900, this Victorian-style home is nestled on an 85-acre working farm amidst a tulip poplar and pine tree thicket. Complimentary full breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room overlooking the 100-year-old pecan tree in the backyard. Snacks are available in the kitchen 24 hours a day. The inn offers concierge services, including dinner, theater and concert reservations, tee times, limo services, and horse and carriage rides. Complimentary access to a gym and a private fine dining club in downtown Raleigh are available. Laundry facilities are provided. The farm includes a donkey and goats, and deer and geese are often seen on site. Hiking, biking and horseback riding trails are available on the property and on the adjacent 70-acre farm.

The Carambola Inn offers four individually decorated guestrooms. All bathrooms include the inn’s homemade honey soap and complimentary Swiss skin care and body products. Private bathrooms are offered in two units. Rooms showcase fireplaces and four-poster or sleigh beds. Turndown service is provided.
