Andon-Reid Inn

Location. The Andon-Reid Inn, located in Waynesville, N.C., is nestled in the Smoky Mountains less than one mile from shopping and dining in the city’s downtown. The inn is less than three miles from golf at the Lake Junaluska Golf Course and Waynesville Country Club, at which guests of the inn receive discounts. The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad is approximately 16 miles away.
Features. This restored turn-of-the-century home features hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and veranda porches. Complimentary four-course breakfasts are served each morning, featuring Mexican frittatas with artichokes, salsa, eggs, onions, three cheeses and spices, a meat entree and cornbread. Complimentary snacks and beverages are provided throughout the day. Meeting rooms, complimentary wireless Internet access, and fax and photocopy services are available. The inn’s recreation center includes a fitness room with three cardiovascular machines, weights, an adjustable bench and a sauna. A pool table, darts and tabletop shuffleboard are available. A glass-enclosed garden room offers a fireplace, wet bar, refrigerator and cable television with a DVD player. Pets are not allowed at this property.

Guestrooms. The Andon-Reid Inn features three suites and two guestrooms. Each of the five accommodations are named after the inn’s rich history and pleasant views. Accommodations include private bathrooms with terry-cloth bathrobes. Coffeemakers are provided in all units, and suites offer mini fridges. Suites also boast jetted tubs. Fireplaces and sitting areas are featured in all units.
