Welcome Home Inn

The Welcome Home Inn of Delaware, Ohio, sits on six acres of woodland on the edge of suburban Columbus, Ohio. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and its adjacent water park, are approximately four miles from the inn. The neighboring city of Powell, Ohio, which offers quaint antique shops, is approximately six miles away.
Constructed in 1997, this inn is reminiscent of a southern farmhouse, and is complemented by the music of singing birds and views of deer poised quietly on the edge of the woods. Complimentary candlelit breakfasts, prepared with herbs and produce from the inn’s own garden, are served each morning in the dining room. A basketball goal, croquet, bocce ball and volleyball are available on the grounds, which also include a one-mile walking trail winding through the trees and foliage. Inside games, videos and books can be provided upon request. A screened-in porch wraps around the house, and includes wicker furniture and a swing. Pets are not allowed.

The five guestrooms at the Welcome Home Inn are furnished with maple, walnut and oak pieces. Accommodations are equipped with private bathrooms. Select rooms offer decks, double vanities, French doors and fireplaces. The Red Bud Room features a private entrance, sleigh bed, and a bathroom with a jetted tub and shower.
