Heartland Country Resort

The Heartland Country Resort is located in the rolling hills of Fredericktown, Ohio. Less than 10 miles from the property is the Mount Gilead State Park which offers fishing, boating, picnicking and hiking. Six golf courses are available less than 12 miles from the property.
This log cabin is situated on almost 100 acres and is nestled against a line of trees, and features log- beam cathedral ceilings. Full complimentary breakfasts are served each morning. The property features a horse camp with riding lessons, daily wooded trail rides, information on caring for horses and animal wrangling. Recreation buildings are provided with billiards, board games, card games and lawn games. A library of movies and books is available. Full or upper-body massages are offered in the privacy of the guestrooms for a fee.

Guestrooms at the Heartland Country Resort are located in the log cabin. All rooms feature private bathrooms, full kitchens or kitchenettes, private entrances and private porches with porch swings. The guestrooms are equipped with two-person jetted tubs, glass-front fireplaces and televisions with VCR and DVD players.
