Dawson House Lodge

Dawson House Lodge, located in Chemult, Ore., offers cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling on groomed and marked trails at Walt Haring Sno-Park behind the lodge. The north entrance to Crater Lake National Park is 25 miles from the lodge, where hiking, mountain biking, boating, bird watching and fishing are available in and around Crater Lake.
Complimentary, continental breakfasts, consisting of scones, fresh fruit, coffee, and a selection of teas and juices are served each morning. The original building of the Dawson House Lodge was built in 1929. Three rooms that were added to the outside of the original hotel are motel-style rooms, and do not include breakfast. The hotel features a second-floor veranda with porch swings, wicker furniture and hanging flower baskets.

Each guestroom at the Dawson House Lodge offers a private bathroom and access to the second-floor veranda. Satellite television and complimentary wireless Internet access are provided. The rooms feature hand-hewn pine, burled pine, antique brass, canopy or walnut beds. The Rose Room features a jetted tub for two. Select rooms offer antique claw-foot tubs. The Loft studio features a sitting area, sofa bed, kitchen and a dining table with four chairs.
