Hillside Lodge and Resort

Situated on 30 acres in the midst of a mountainous region, the Hillside Lodge and Resort in Canadensis, Pa., is located in the Pocono Mountains, a popular honeymoon destination in Pennsylvania.
The hotel is near ski slopes, hiking trails and horseback riding. The Pocono Mountain Lake, within 20 minutes of the Hillside, offers whitewater rafting and fishing. Additionally, four golf courses are within 15 minutes of this resort. This family-owned-and-operated resort offers a wide variety of activities for its guests, including mini-golf, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, shuffle-board and horse shoes. The hotel also boasts a pool in a glass enclosure, which is retracted seasonally to allow guests to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Additionally, the hotel offers guests a sauna and spa tub. All the cottages and suites at the Hillside Lodge are individually and thematically decorated in country style. Cottages offer refrigerators, microwave ovens, coffeemakers and televisions. Some have sunken jetted tubs and fireplaces. Others have private balconies with mountain views.
