Welcome to the Mercersburg Inn, a stately 20,000 square foot Georgian Mansion situated on five acres of terraced lawns. Once a private residence, the home is now a 17 room country inn. During guests stay, they will notice the quality work and attention to detail throughout the elegant brick mansion. Decorative tile, oak flooring, double-curving wrought-iron balustrades, scagliola columns, and the mahogany and chestnut paneling are all original to the house. The mornings at the inn are blissful, with a three course breakfast served every day. Enjoy the afternoon with tea and scones on the weekends and sometimes evening refreshments. Dinner is served every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Guests are welcome to take a stroll through the gardens from some fresh air on a breezy summer day or mingle in the common sitting room, getting to know other guests. Enjoy the sun by reading the daily newspaper on the sundeck or relax on the sundeck at night taking in the crisp cool air while gazing at the stars. In the cold months, curl up next to the glowing fireplace for some warmth. Guests will enjoy the ambiance of the old world inn from the moment they walk into the door, until they leave.Each of the 17 bed and breakfast rooms features a plush feather bed with 360-thread-count, Egyptian-cotton linens, and mounds of soft pillows. Even with the delectable breakfast to look forward to, guests will have a hard time getting out of the comfortable beds in the morning. Each splendid room comes with air-conditioning, an alarm clock radio, desk, telephone, and smoke detectors. After a day of fun, guests are welcomed to use the fluffy bathrobes provided by the inn and relax in their rooms. Some guest rooms have a balcony/patio and a whirlpool bath that guests can use to unwind.

Travel through Greencastle and on to Mercersburg which is approximately 11 miles. In Mercersburg, look for a sign for the Mercersburg Academy on the right and a cemetery on the left. Turn right onto junction 75. Turn right into the Mercersburg Inn parking lot.
