Location. Located in the Capitol District, the Renaissance Providence Hotel in Providence, R.I., is adjacent to the Veterans Memorial Auditorium housing the VMA Arts & Cultural Center. The hotel is opposite the Rhode Island State House and one block from Providence Place Mall.

Renovated in 2007, The Renaissance Providence Hotel was originally intended to be a Masonic temple and still retains its regal Parthenon-like Ionic columns and a grand entrance constructed in the 1920s.
