Location. Shore Crest Vacation Villas II is located in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., three-quarters of a mile from Barefoot Landing. Barefoot Golf Resort and Azalia Sands Golf Club are each a little over two miles away, and there are four family-friendly miniature golf courses within three miles. Guests have access to 60 miles of beachfront on the Atlantic, offering fishing, boating, surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, parasailing and windsurfing.
Hotel Features. Shore Crest Vacation Villas II is made up of two high-rise resort buildings, including Shore Crest I on the oceanfront and Shore Crest II on a marsh within walking distance to the beach. The resort features a lazy river snaking around a sundeck, complete with a freeform pool, hot tub and poolside cabana serving frosty drinks. There is also an indoor pool with hot tub. Carpet-like zoysia grass complements well-maintained landscaping, and the waterfront is just steps away over the boardwalk.

Guestrooms. The Shore Crest I villas have a distinctly "beachy" feel, with pastel yellows and blues rendering thoughts of sun, sand and sea. Shore Crest II villas, with their deeper yellow and blue hues, have a warm "Cape Cod" ambiance. Fully equipped kitchens in each unit have refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, coffeemakers with complimentary coffee, full stoves and cookware. Other room amenities include high-speed Internet access, cable television, CD players, VCRs and telephones with voicemail. Shore Crest I units have garden tubs in the main bathrooms.

Expert Tip. The Shore Crest II balconies offer some of the best seats in town for viewing the Barefoot Landing fireworks, set off weekly in season, and for major holidays and special events.
