Overview
Location. The Holekamp House Bed & Breakfast is located five blocks from historic downtown Comfort, Texas, offering antique shopping, restaurants and historical attractions. Daily wine testing is available at the Comfort Cellars Winery approximately one-half mile from the bed and breakfast. Golf is available less than two miles away at the 18-hole Buckhorn Golf Course.
Features. This 1910 Sears and Roebuck kit home, nestled in Texas Hill Country, was completely renovated in 2002. Full, complimentary breakfasts featuring fresh baked muffins, bacon and coffee are served each morning in the dining room. Complimentary evening desserts are provided. A coffeemaker and microwave oven are provided in the common room. Pets are not allowed at this property.
Guestrooms. The inn provides six guestrooms with private bathrooms, high-quality linens, fluffy bath towels and fresh flowers. Cable television is included in all rooms. Aunt Dolly’s room overlooks the inn’s front yard. The room features an original 12-foot window seat, antique iron beds and a private bathroom with a tub and shower combination. Miss Anna’s room features a net canopy bed with roses and a sitting area with 1920’s style furniture. Cela’s Sunrise Room is furnished with a Victorian bed and a turn-of-the- century four-poster bed. The room’s windows allow for views of the sunrise each morning. A private bathroom features a tub and shower. Expert Tip. The National Museum of the Pacific War, located in Fredericksburg, Texas, is the only institution in the continental United States dedicated exclusively dedicated to the Pacific Theater battles of World War II.
