- My first TripAdvisor Review!
My first trip into central Fort Worth for one night at the end of a business trip to Dallas.
Pleased with my choice. Good rate for excellent location and very helpfull staff. (Desk were great helping me to rig together a way to wrap a delicate souvenir.
If you do stay here, take a trip out to the Stockyards for a feel of the Old West. Sundance Square is nice in the evening but shopping is limited. « less

- this is a fairly expensive hotel, I guess i expected more. The room was warm, even though the thermostat was on 60. The concierge was never at the desk, even during hours they should have been. There was one towel in the room and no soap, my husband had to get them off the housekeeping cart. The valet desk never answered when we called for our car, the guy said their phone wasn't working. I don't think one staff member spoke to us. It's a great location, but I don't think we'll stay there again. It was just underwhelming. « less

- We stayed for two nights for a relatives wedding in Fort Worth. Our room was nice, beds comfortable and above average and clean bathroom. Valet and desk staff very friendly. Quick service from valet as well, although it is expensive at $18/day! Main complaint is the 2nd night of our stay I got very little sleep due to a very obnoxious noise from our air conditioner, which we alerted staff to earlier in the day, but apparently was never resolved even though they said they would send a technician up to fix it. It was so late and I was so tired after the wedding when we got back to our room I didn't have the energy to complain about it..but ended up getting so fed up with the noise, I just shut it off and dealt with a warm room. I would probably look at other options, such as the Omni if I stay in FW again, but I can't say it was "bad". « less

- My husband and I chose the Hilton downtown Ft. Worth to celebrate our anniversary. Let me start by saying that everyone was very friendly and happy to help. They upgraded us upon arrival to a corner room which was nice. As the stay went on however, it became clear what ammenities were missing. The most important issue I had was that there was no free wi-fi, its 2010 and by now I expect any hotel I'm staying in to offer free wi-fi. They didn't even have wi-fi, they had an ethernet that you could plug into for a fee. Secondly, there was no fridge in the room. We had some leftovers from dinner that we were hoping to save but it was a $10 charge for a fridge to be brought up to the room. There is an $18 fee for valet parking which seemed a little steep to me especially since they didn't offer self-parking and since we were downtown on a Sat. night that would have been quite a challenge. There was a toothpaste stain on one of the bath towels as well as an ink stain on the sheets. Kind of a turn off to me. I can't say enough about the staff though, they were very friendly and eager to help which we certainly appreciated. All in all I don't think we'll stay here again, « less

- I've stayed here so many times I've completely lost track. I love this hotel. I've always had a great and clean room, friendly staff, and you really can't beat the location. Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, it is close to everything you need/want. Parking is valet only, but they are very fast. The breakfast buffet in the hotel is probably the only thing lacking, but that could be because I usually don't make it down there until right at the end!
Make sure to check out Mi Cocina for food and margaritas, 8.0 for fabulous patio nightlife, and the White Elephant in the Stockyards for some local country bar fun. « less
