The Grand Summit Hotel at the Canyons

Location. The Canyons Grand Summit Hotel is a ski-in/ski- out resort near the Flight of The Canyons high-speed gondola in Park City, Utah. Tanger Factory Outlet Stores is located two miles from the hotel while the White Pine Nordic Center and the Park City Mountain Resort are less than four miles away. Park City’s Historic Main Street is four miles away, and is accessible by the complimentary Park City Shuttle at the stop in front of the hotel. The shuttle also travels between the nearby Canyons, the Park City Mountain Resort and the Deer Valley Resort. During ski season, the hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to Park City destinations upon request.
Features. This gabled, contemporary hotel complements the peaked mountains in the background, and features an interior with an amber lit, three-story lobby embellished with Native American accents including clay pottery and drum end tables. The hotel’s restaurant, Cabin, serves Western cuisine including Utah Trout, Wild Boar Ribs, Wild Game Pot Pie with buffalo and venison and Rocky Mountain Lamb Chops. Doc’s, an après-ski pub, offers cocktails and light fair. Pastries, snacks and Starbucks coffee are available at First Tracks. The Canyons Grand Summit Hotel’s spa showcases spa treatments such as hydrotherapy, stone massage, and raindrop therapy, in addition to other popular types of massages. This resort offers more than 15,000-square-feet of flexible meeting and banquet space.

Guestrooms. The Canyons Grand Summit Hotel provides an array of lodging options, including hotel rooms, studios, and one- and two-bedroom suites. Though amenities vary by selection, most of the 358 guestrooms offer balconies, fireplaces, spa tubs and full kitchens. Beds feature cotton-rich linens, down pillows and comforters. Guestrooms offer coffeemakers with complimentary Starbucks coffee. Each room provides either views of the mountains or valley.

Expert Tip. Located near the Canyons Grand Summit Hotel is the Flight of the Canyons gondola. The gondola offers tours Thursday through Sunday and features scenic panoramic views of the Park City area and Wasatch Mountains at 8,000 feet.
