The Vermont Inn

The Vermont Inn is located in Killington, Vt., surrounded by the Green Mountains. The inn is one block from the Pico Alpine Slide and approximately five miles from hiking on the Telefon Trail section of the Appalachian Trail. Skiing and snowboarding at Killington Mountain are seven miles away. The Norman Rockwell Museum in Rutland, Vt., is 10 miles from the inn.
This red farmhouse, built in 1840 and renovated in 1998, is set on six acres. Complimentary full breakfasts are offered each morning. Each afternoon, hot apple cider and freshly-baked cookies are served. The restaurant at The Vermont Inn offers four-course dinners featuring New England and Continental cuisine in front of a field-stone fireplace with mountain views. The lounge boasts a handmade, Vermont cherry bar, a wood stove, antique couches, and an extensive wine list and full bar. Complimentary wireless Internet access, a computer station, a conference room, and fax and photocopy services are available. The living room boasts the original exposed wood beams, a brick fireplace and cable television. The inn features a game room with bumper pool, air hockey, puzzles and board games. An outdoor pool, playground, a tennis court and shuffleboard are available at the inn. A fully equipped fitness area includes a treadmill, stationary bike, universal weight machine system, hand weights and abdominal equipment. Pets are not allowed at the property.

Accommodations at The Vermont Inn feature deluxe and standard rooms with private bathrooms and bathrobes. Deluxe rooms boast either canopy, four-poster or brass beds. Fireplaces and spa tubs are available in select deluxe rooms.
