Seymour Lake Lodge B&B

Location. Seymour Lake Lodge gets its name from its lakeside location in Morgan Center, Vt. Seymour Lake is known for its excellent fishing and is conveniently located on major New England bike touring routes and snowmobile trails. A half-mile beach is available for swimming and sunbathing directly across from the lodge. In the mountains surrounding this bed and breakfast are several ponds and streams, offering fishing, canoeing and hiking. A gas station and convenience store are located just across the street.
Hotel Features. Seymour Lake Lodge is a 19th-century family lodge furnished with antique period pieces and fishing and lodge-style furnishings. A complimentary continental breakfast is available each morning. A large porch overlooks the lake. Guests have access to a shared kitchen, fully equipped with appliances and cookware to prepare meals. There are also barbecue grills for grilling out in the summer. There is an antique and gift shop located in the lodge.

Guestrooms. Six guestrooms are offered at this bed and breakfast. Standard rooms have shared bathrooms and all other rooms have private bathrooms. Standard rooms have baseboard hot water heating and may have views of the lake, mountains or forest. Suites have separate living and sleeping areas, and include a refrigerator, satellite television and a private porch. Apartment units have separate living and sleeping areas, private decks, full kitchens and shortwave radios. The room rate for apartments does not include continental breakfast.

Expert Tip. Guests at the Seymour Lake Lodge can expect to see loons, ducks, moose, deer and beaver around the lodge throughout their stay.
