The Colonial House

The Colonial House is nestled in the foothills surrounding Green Mountain State Park in Weston, Vt. Antique shops, art galleries and the Vermont Country Store are within two miles. The Weston Playhouse, said to be Vermont's oldest professional theater group, is two miles away. The Magic Mountain Ski Area is six miles from the inn.
Built in 1790, this Colonial-style home features manicured lawns and gardens. Complimentary full breakfasts are served each morning in the dining room, featuring griddle pancakes topped with fruit or maple syrup. Dinner is available on the weekends for a fee, featuring homemade pies. Cider, homemade cookies and cakes are served in the afternoon. A barbeque grill is offered. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided. A fireplace, overstuffed furniture and wide plank floors are featured in the Great Room. The inn provides puzzles, games and a movie library.

The Colonial House offers 15 individually decorated guestrooms. Private bathrooms are offered in nine units. The Motel Rooms, located in separate wings of the house, feature cable television. The rooms feature private entrances. Views of the surrounding mountains and gardens are offered in select rooms. Desks are provided in all rooms.
