Overview
Nestled atop a spruce-covered hill that overlooks forests and wetlands, the Cable Nature Lodge sits on 22 acres within the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest in Cable, Wis. This secluded lodge is located one mile from Rock Lake Trail, which is part of the CAMBA off-road biking trail system. The Namakagon River, part of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, originates less than two miles from the inn.
Cable Nature Lodge combines rustic charm with modern amenities. Rough-sawn cedar and knotty pine paneling, vaulted ceilings and field-stone fireplaces are featured throughout the lodge. Complimentary continental breakfasts are offered daily, and include homemade muffins, scones, fresh fruit, yogurt and juices. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas.
Guestrooms feature private bathrooms, refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers. Additional amenities include satellite television and complimentary wireless Internet access. The Birkie room features a spa tub, and the Aurora Borealis room boasts an 18-foot vaulted ceiling and a spa tub.
