McCormick House

Location. Set in Wisconsin's Northwoods in the city of Hayward, Wis., the McCormick House is located three blocks from fishing and boating on Hayward Lake. Hayward offers a wide range of trails for snowmobiling, ATVs, cross-country skiing, hiking and mountain biking. The Hayward Golf & Tennis Club is one-half mile away.
Features. This Victorian mansion, built in 1887 and renovated in 2005, features the original architectural details, antique furnishings and formal English gardens with a reflecting pool. Complimentary, a la carte English breakfasts are served on white, Wedgwood fine-bone china and hotel linens with English silverware in the garden, porch, dining room or in the guestrooms. Afternoon tea and early evening cocktails are offered. The library and sitting rooms convert to accommodate business meetings, and complimentary wireless Internet access is offered throughout the house. Fax and photocopy services, and a computer station are also available. The McCormick House offers complimentary use of an extensive DVD library and Apple iPOD Nanos.

Guestrooms. Suites at the McCormick House offer views of a public park, Shue's pond or the inn's gardens. Antique furniture and art complement the European and Oriental décor.
