Victorian Treasure Inn

Location. Victorian Treasure Inn is located in Lodi, Wis., 25 miles north of Madison and four miles from Interstate 90/94. The Lodi Golf Club is less than one mile away, and the University of Wisconsin is five miles from the property. The Lake Wisconsin recreational area offers boating, fishing, water sports, downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and golf courses beginning five miles from the property. Lake Wisconsin spans 9,500 acres with 57 miles of shoreline. The inn is 12 miles from the Wollersheim Winery, located on the eastern bluff of the Wisconsin River.
Features. This Victorian bed and breakfast consists of two Queen Anne style Victorian homes listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a 1928 Craftsman bungalow. The main hospitality house, the 1897 Bissell Mansion, offers complimentary three-course gourmet breakfasts each morning and an evening wine and cheese reception. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available. This mansion features a formal front parlor, sitting room with original fireplace and a wraparound veranda. Original features of the home include ornate leaded- and stained-glass windows, pocket doors, combination gas- electric chandeliers, an coal fireplace with Italian tile, hand- carved mantle, and a burled walnut Cable baby grand piano. These historic buildings are equipped with forced-air heating and central air conditioning. Pets are not allowed at the property.

Guestrooms. The Victorian Treasure Inn offers traditional and deluxe suites. All accommodations feature private bathrooms with full-length, custom-made bathrobes, Egyptian cotton towels, herbal bath grains and premium imported soaps. Beds are dressed with goose-down comforters and pillows. The suites feature two-person jetted tubs, antique fireplaces, cable television with VCRs and DVD players, CD players, coffeemakers, microwave ovens and mini-fridges. In-room massages and spa services are available for a fee.
