This second-floor guest house occupies the upper level of a building housing Schiro's Grocery and Café on the bottom floor. The Community Café and Bar, located within the grocery store, is a popular gathering place for artists and musicians. The cafe serves lunch and dinner, and features authentic New Orleans comfort food including po' boy sandwiches, Creole red beans and gumbo, accompanied by cocktails. Full, complimentary breakfasts are served on weekdays, and hot brunches are served on the weekends in the cafe. A guest computer with a printer is available. The property features an 80-foot, wraparound balcony overlooking the city of New Orleans, a shared guest parlor and a video poker lounge. Self-serve laundry facilities are available. Pets are not allowed.
