Paul Deninger profile picture

Paul Deninger brings 35 years of experience in advising companies on shareholder value creation, including how to leverage technology to achieve transformation and growth. In addition to his current role on the Resideo Board of Directors, where he chairs the Finance Committee and is a member of both the Audit Committee and the Innovation and Technology Committee, Deninger also serves on the board of one other public company.

Deninger is an Operating Partner with Material Impact, a venture capital firm that invests in deep tech companies, including those focused on climate and sustainability.  He was previously a Senior Managing Director at, and subsequently a senior advisor to, Evercore, a highly reputed investment banking firm, where he advised leading technology companies on strategies for maximizing value. Prior to Evercore, he was a Vice Chairman at Jefferies, a global securities and investment banking firm, and CEO and Chairman of Broadview, which he grew to be the leading independent merger and acquisition advisory firm in the technology industry and later sold to Jefferies.

Deninger was previously a member of the US Treasury IPO Task Force that led to the 2012 JOBS Act, a member of the executive council of TechNet, a national network of technology CEOs and senior executives, and a panelist and 14-year attendee at the World Economic Forum at Davos.

He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Boston College.

  • Serves on the boards of several private companies focused on sustainability and climate
  • Serves on the Presidential Advisory Council of the Berklee College of Music
