Nina Richardson has more than 30 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, sales, supply chain management and global operations, and has held executive positions in consumer electronics, technology, energy, lighting and manufacturing.
In addition to her role on the Resideo Board of Directors, Richardson serves as managing director of Three Rivers Energy Inc., which she cofounded in 2004, and is advisor to Eargo Inc., a private hearing device company. She is also an advisor to Zoox Inc., a California-based robotics company focused on autonomous mobility.
Richardson served as chief operating officer of GoPro, a leader in mobile capture devices, software and entertainment solutions, until early 2015. At GoPro she was responsible for engineering, operations, sales, customer support, quality, human resources, IT and workplace services. She was instrumental in scaling leadership and processes, and a key member of the executive team that took GoPro public in 2014.
Prior to GoPro, she consulted with companies like Tesla Motors, Touch Tunes Interactive Networks, Solaria and UltraCell.
Richardson began her career at Hughes Aircraft's ground systems group before later leading engineering and operations at lighting electronics start-up ELI, where as part of the executive management team, she raised more than $10 million in venture funding. Richardson also ran $1 billion-plus manufacturing facilities and supply chains as vice president and general manager at Flextronics.
Richardson earned her B.S. in industrial engineering from Purdue University and her executive M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. She has led training seminars through Breakthrough International Group and serves as a mentor for women leaders through Women Unlimited.
