Paul Deninger

Director

Paul Deninger is an expert in emerging technologies, new business expansion and capital markets. In addition to his current role on the Resideo Board of Directors, Deninger has served as executive chairman of IDL Development Inc., a private company engaged in advanced materials science research and development, since June 2016.

Deninger also serves as a consultant to Evercore Inc., a publicly held investment banking advisory firm, where he advises leading technology companies on strategies for maximizing value. He previously served as senior managing director at Evercore.

Prior to Evercore, Deninger was a vice chairman at Jefferies & Company Inc., a global securities and investment banking firm, where he spearheaded the firm's entry into the tech IPO market. He was also the CEO and chairman of Broadview, which he grew to be the leading merger and acquisition advisory firm in the technology industry.

Deninger earned his B.S. at Boston College and his M.B.A. at Harvard Business School. He has served as a keynote speaker at technology and venture capital industry events, and was a panelist and 14-year attendee at the World Economic Forum at Davos. Deninger was a member of the U.S. Treasury IPO Task Force that led to the 2012 JOBS Act, and is also a former member of the executive council of TechNet, a national network of technology CEOs and senior executives.

Additional qualifications:

  • Serves as a board member of Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM), a $10 billion market capitalization company and a global leader in storing, protecting and managing information assets, and where he's served on several committees, including the Finance, Compensation, CEO Search, and Risk & Safety committees
  • Serves on the Presidential Advisory Council of the Berklee College of Music
  • Served on the boards of Netegrity, Inc., The Boston Globe, Boston Symphony Orchestra and Match Charter Public School
