Niccolo de Masi is Resideo’s chief innovation officer. With expertise in mobile apps, software and hardware, IoT, and business-to-consumer (B2C), he is one of the very few technology CEOs who has run two public companies before the age of 30: mobile gaming leader Glu Mobile (NASDAQ: GLUU), where he remains chairman, and Monstermob Group PLC. During his tenure at Glu as CEO and then chairman over the past nine years, the company’s market capitalization grew by more than 40 times.
Previously, De Masi was president of Resideo’s Products & Solutions segment, and served on the company’s Board of Directors and its Technology Committee. Prior to joining Resideo, de Masi was president of Essential Products Inc., a full-stack consumer electronics brand, where he was responsible for day-to-day operations of the startup. He also served on the board of XURA (NASDAQ: MESG) (previously Comverse) first as president and then as CEO.
Prior to that, he was CEO of London-listed mobile entertainment player Monstermob Group PLC, which grew its market capitalization over 20 times during his tenure.
De Masi earned his bachelor’s in electrical engineering and master’s degrees in physics from Cambridge University.
