Announcing Resideo’s Latest Feature for Total Connect^® 2.0 (TC2) enabled security system — Alarm-Cancel-Verify

Rapid Response Monitoring dealers now offer their ProSeries customers using Total Connect 2.0 services the ability to designate an active alarm as a False Alarm or as User Verified. The feature will also be available in the near future for Lyric, Lynx, and Vista panel customers.

False alarms that cause accidental dispatches can result in financial penalties including service providers and monitoring stations. When the alarm is triggered at the home location and the entry timer has elapsed the user will have the option to cancel or verify giving the alarm center the proper information on whether to send dispatch or not.
