Honeywell Home evohome named Heating Product of the Year at ASCP26
Smart zoning solution recognised for helping social housing providers optimise energy usage, support retrofit programmes and enhance resident comfort
The Honeywell Home evohome smart zoning thermostat has scooped the Heating Product of the Year at the 2026 Association of Safety and Compliance Professionals (ASCP) Awards, recognising its contribution to supporting the evolving needs of the UK's social housing and retrofit sectors.
The award highlights evohome's ability to provide targeted, room-by-room heating control, which can help housing providers reduce unnecessary energy consumption while maintaining temperature comfort.
At a time when social housing providers are working to improve EPC ratings across existing housing stock, evohome continues to offer a practical retrofit zoning solution that can be installed with minimal disruption to residents.
Recognised as a Time and Temperature Zone Control (TTZC) measure on the Product Characteristics Database (PCDB), evohome provides room-by-room control across up to 12 heating zones. And, as a recognised TTZC measure, evohome is also eligible for consideration under schemes such as the Warm Homes Social Housing Fund, subject to programme criteria and assessment, and can contribute to SAP score improvements.
Compatible with both traditional gas boilers and heat pump systems, evohome can also be used within a range of housing types and heating strategies.
Information from a 10-property pilot programme formed part of the entry with the housing provider reporting SAP uplifts of between one and three points per property, alongside annual fuel cost savings through improved heating control.
