Resideo Celebrates Its Champions of Change

In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, Resideo highlighted female Champions of Change throughout the month of March.

At Resideo, diversity, equity and inclusion are integral to our innovative culture. We have always believed that advancing technology can make homes and lives easier for everyone. We know that it is only possible when we include everyone and when employees can bring their authentic selves to work each day.

In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, Resideo highlighted female Champions of Change throughout the month of March. These Champions were nominated in a special International Women’s Day event held by the Women@Resideo employee resource group, for their invaluable contributions to Resideo and efforts to Break the Bias in the call to accelerate women’s equality, the 2022 International Women’s Day theme.

Women At Resideo Highlight, Photo of Samantha Aguiar.

Meet Samantha Aguiar, Resideo’s Production Planner, based in Tijuana, Mexico. Samantha has been with Resideo for two and a half years. She schedules production for various lines while considering constraints and priorities. When asked what the most rewarding part of her role within Resideo is, she answered, “Feeling part of a community, and knowing my work is making a difference. Resideo is a stable company to grow your career and a great company to work for.”

Meet Lisha Joshua, Resideo’s Analytics Manager – ISC/IBP, based in Bangalore, India. Lisha has been with Resideo for five years. She manages a team of data analysts and supports data governance/quality projects. She is an active member of the Women@Resideo employee resource group and a committee member of the Diversity and Inclusion – India Chapter. When asked what makes Resideo a great place to work she shared, “Its focus on diversity and inclusion, and people and process. The employee resource groups at Resideo aim to connect, support, inspire and motivate, and are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace every day.”

Meet Jamie Robertson, Resideo’s Digital Marketing Leader for the ADI Global Distribution business, based in Dallas, TX. Jamie has been with Resideo for two years. She has managed ADI’s marketing automation system and built a team that is responsible for all inbound and outbound digital marketing and commercialization. When asked what part of her role is most rewarding, she shared, “Seeing the direct impact my team and I make to transform ADI's growth and digital transformation.”

Meet Sonali Samantaray, PMO Excellence Leader based in Austin, Texas. Sonali has been with Resideo for five years. Sonali leads the program management team for the connected ecosystem group. Her team’s goal is to ensure execution of the software roadmap across workstreams that aid in building a unified platform and enable solutions built on the platform. She was originally drawn to Resideo after she was impressed to learn about the wide portfolio of home automation solutions and its outreach. “Resideo’s commitment towards a great work culture is conducive to all its employees and helps them build a solid career path.”

Meet Linda Szeto, Quality Engineer/Supervisor based in San Diego, California. Linda started with the Resideo team thirty-one years ago as a Quality Inspector on the production line and worked her way up to supervisor. She is passionate about her work and her team. Linda's goal is to always make the customer her top priority. She plays a significant role in identifying and resolving production issues and customer complaints. In her free time, she teaches as a volunteer for her church and a mentor for her local high school robotics team.

Meet Lupita Lopez, Sr. Business System Analyst based in Tijuana, Mexico. Lupita started with Resideo six years ago as a Software Engineer to support local applications and has grown in her role to include project management for IT projects and applications at the Tijuana and San Diego sites. Being a part of the plant application’s team and helping to automate processes using software is the most rewarding part of her role. Lupita is proud to be a member of the Women@Resideo employee resource group and believes, “Resideo embraces change and is a great company to be a part of. There are always new challenges, and it offers a great opportunity for professional and personal development.”
