Resideo made its first debut in April as a standalone company at ISC West 2019 – the industry’s largest security show. Each year, ISC West attracts more than 30,000 security professional attendees while featuring more than 1,000 exhibitors. The company hosted two exhibit spaces featuring the latest Resideo security and smart-home products and a booth showcasing ADI’s product categories and value-added services.

Attendees had a chance to preview the new ProSeries Security and Smart Home Platform that delivers an end-to-end, scalable ecosystem to provide smart protection for consumers. Resideo also showed some of its new software releases including Resideo Total Connect that offers intelligent multi-family property support, and includes an expanding ecosystem with integrations with IFTTT (If This, Then That) and Google Assistant.

The LTE pavilion in the booth outlined how routine upgrades could lead to new opportunities in automation and smart home technologies, and how software like AlarmNet 360 Insights helps dealers identify these opportunities and keep customers engaged.

Demonstrating our commitment to the professional channel, the company shared details on the Resideo Premier Security Dealer Program that will help dealers expand in the security and smart-home market, while driving value for homeowners. Resideo hosted a special luncheon at the show for potential members, and the attendance was standing room only.

“We are fully committed to providing our dealers with the right products and programs they need to win more customers, keep them longer and drive profits, while delivering an exceptional homeowner experience,” said Alice DeBiasio, vice president and general manager, Residential Pro Security at Resideo. “Increasingly, a majority of consumers prefer to have a professional install their home security system because it offers them assurance it was done right and will work correctly when they need it. It’s the professionally installed and monitored solution that helps homeowners feel peace of mind that if something happens, their local police or emergency personnel will be alerted to help protect what matters most – their loved ones, valued possessions and property.”

Additionally, Brandon Board, chief information security officer at Resideo, participated in a panel session at the show focused on consumer privacy and how the security industry can lead the way.

Things stayed busy in the ADI booth where attendees had a chance to see and test leading technologies across multiple product categories including video surveillance, intrusion, smart home, fire, access control, residential and pro A/V, enterprise connectivity and more.

At the center of the ADI booth, visitors had an up-close look at the 2019 Porsche Macan that will be given away to one lucky dealer as part of ADI’s customer appreciation car giveaway sweepstakes later this year. Entries were collected at the show. Dealers also can submit entries at local U.S. ADI Expos throughout the year, and at InfoComm and CEDIA EXPO.

In addition, ADI along with many of its leading vendors, hosted one of the most popular events at the show. More than 1,600 dealers enjoyed live music at the ADI customer appreciation event held at the legendary House of Blues located inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
