Resideo Donates $100,000 to Direct Relief After Successful Employees of Action Campaign

AUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 9, 2021 – Resideo Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: REZI), a leading global provider of home comfort and security solutions and distributor of commercial and residential security and audio-visual products, today announced that it reached its goal of donating $100,000 by the end of 2021 to Direct Relief, a nonprofit humanitarian organization on the front lines of COVID-19 response. The donation was made after thousands of employees participated in Resideo’s “Employees of Action Campaign”, which gave a $25 donation to Direct Relief for each employee who either shared why they got vaccinated for COVID-19 on social media or self-disclosed to Resideo that they had received the vaccine.

“Making a difference is one of our core values here at Resideo. I am incredibly proud of our Employees of Action who made a difference in communities around the world during this difficult time,” said Jay Geldmacher, Resideo’s president and CEO. “Direct Relief’s global presence and mission made it the ideal organization to support.”

“Direct Relief is so deeply grateful for the generosity of Resideo, whose support in a time of compounded crises serves as a catalyst for a vastly more expansive response than would otherwise be possible," said Thomas Tighe, Direct Relief president and CEO.
