Resideo Honors Exceptional Essential Workers at 31St Annual Connect

On Thursday, Nov. 12, the 31^st annual Resideo CONNECT event gathered more than 125 security companies from across North America. All from the comfort of their own computer screen, of course. During the two-hour event, Resideo shined a spotlight on the work its dedicated dealers performed in 2020, shared its view on the year ahead, and offered opportunities for them to network in a virtual social lounge and learn new techniques for how to serve their customers.

From the opening video to the end keynote address, Resideo offered members of its Premier Security Dealer network insight into emerging opportunities from the COVID-19 pandemic. The event's keynote featured Connie Podesta, who delivered an interactive presentation about having an adapt-to-adopt-to-change mindset and offered selling tips dealers can use when working with customers during the pandemic rollercoaster – and beyond.

Resideo Leaders Provide Outlook, Gratitude

"With our partnership and the strength of our industry, 2021 is going to be an amazing year and together we can accomplish anything as we’ve proven in 2020 and we’re going to prove it again, over and over, in the future," said Scott Harkins, vice president of Americas’ sales and channel, at Resideo.

Resideo leaders thanked the security audience for serving customers and driving success, for keeping bad things from happening to good people, and for being the cornerstones of their communities during an unstable year. Leaders also highlighted the new ProSeries Platform, which offers dealers that serve residential and small businesses a complete, end-to-end solution, and expands Resideo's overall portfolio of connected security solutions and services.

Another element of CONNECT that attendees look forward to each year is the annual awards show, which was held on Dec. 9, 2020. During the pandemic, the Resideo Premier Security Dealer network invented new ways to grow business.
