Total Connect 2.0 Features


Easily Pause Security Monitoring with Total Connect® 2.0 

With the Account on Test function in Total Connect 2.0 (TC2), you can temporarily pause security monitoring for up to one hour. This allows you to easily change sensor batteries or perform other maintenance without worrying about triggering emergency services.

To temporarily pause monitoring:

  • Open your TC2 app
  • On the Home Screen, select Test Mode
  • Follow the Prompts

Once activated, you will see an indicator confirming that your system is in test mode. 

By placing an Account in “On Test” Mode, you are agreeing that Emergency Services may not be dispatched for the account during the specified time period.

Emergency Contact Management in Total Connect® 2.0

With the Total Connect® 2.0 app or website, you can easily manage your Emergency Contact List anytime, from anywhere.

  • Instant Updates: Any changes* you make are immediately sent to your central station, ensuring fast response in an emergency.
  • Customizable List: Add up to 10 contacts, including their names, phone numbers, and priority, to make sure the right people are notified.
  • Easy to Use: Quickly edit and prioritize contacts in just a few clicks, giving you peace of mind when it matters most.

How To Update Your Emergency Contacts:

  • Open the Total Connect 2.0 app or log into the website
  • Select "Locations" from the main menu
  • Open the location to be updated, click "Edit“
  • View and modify emergency contacts in the lower right of the screen, with options to add, edit, and prioritize as needed

Stay Informed with Real-Time Dispatch Updates with Total Connect® 2.0

With the Total Connect 2.0 App, receive real-time notifications of Dispatch Events at your Central Station during an alarm event. Get alerts when contacts are called, alarms are cleared, or if Police, Fire Dept, or EMS are dispatched. Notifications are available for 30 minutes or until the all-clear code is sent.

To see Dispatch Updates:

  • Open your Total Connect 2.0 app
  • Select More
  • On the More Screen, select Dispatch

Requires a Total Connect 2.0 Package Subscription. Feature must be enabled by your dealer. Contact your dealer if you have any questions.
